1. Create your organization
Go to Get started and enter your club's name, a handle (a short, URL-safe name such as skyline-aviation), and your own name, email and password. You become the club's first admin.
Every new club starts with a 30-day free trial. No credit card is needed to start.
2. Add your aircraft
- Open Fleet and choose Add aircraft.
- Enter the tail number, make, model, category and hourly rate.
- Choose which meters to track (Hobbs, tach or both) and which one to bill flight time from.
- Tick Operated for hire if the aircraft needs 100-hour inspections, and Require a checkout if members must be signed off before booking it.
Then open each aircraft and add its inspections under Inspections & maintenance. See Tracking maintenance and inspections.
3. Invite your members
- Open Members and choose Invite people.
- Enter the person's email and pick a role: admin, instructor or member.
- Choose Create invite, then copy the join link and send it to them.
The person opens the link, sets their name and password, and joins your club. Someone who already uses ClubHangar with another club joins with their existing account. Pending invites can be revoked from the same page.
4. Set your club's rules
In Settings you can set the club name and home airport, and turn on pilot restrictions: block bookings for unpaid balances over an amount, for expired medicals, or when a flight review is due.
Billing is an add-on. Leave it on to invoice members through ClubHangar, or turn it off if you bill some other way.
5. Print QR placards (optional)
From Fleet, print QR codes for the whole fleet or a single aircraft. Put one on each clipboard or panel. Scanning it opens that aircraft's check-out and check-in page.
