Flights bill themselves
Flight time posts to the member's account when the aircraft checks in, dues post on statement day, and invoices go out by email. Members pay online or the way they always have.

Charges that post themselves
At check-in, the hours flown on the aircraft's billing meter are charged at its hourly rate. Monthly dues post on the day you choose, with per-member amounts or exemptions for instructors and honorary members.
- Flight, dues, one-off charges and credits on one account history
- A mistake is voided, never silently edited
- Each flight and each month's dues can only be charged once
Statements or per-flight invoices
Bundle everything into one monthly statement per member, or invoice each flight as soon as it posts. You set the statement day and how many days members have to pay.
Paid online, into your own account
Members pay by bank transfer (ACH), or by card if you allow it, through Stripe. The money goes to your club's own Stripe account, not through ClubHangar.
- Saved payment methods and optional autopay
- Zelle instructions shown on invoices, if your club takes Zelle
- Cash, check and Zelle payments recorded by hand
Know who owes what
Outstanding, overdue and not-yet-invoiced totals at a glance, and a CSV or PDF export of everything open for your treasurer.
Common questions
- Do I have to use ClubHangar for billing?
- No. Billing is an add-on you can turn off in Settings. Scheduling, dispatch and maintenance work without it.
- Does ClubHangar take a cut of member payments?
- No. Online payments go straight to your club's Stripe account, and Stripe's own processing fees apply.
- Can I bill from Hobbs instead of tach?
- Yes. Each aircraft bills from whichever meter you choose.
