The three roles
- Admin: runs the club. Manages aircraft, members and invites, maintenance items, billing, payments and settings, and can edit or dispatch any reservation.
- Instructor: books for other pilots and signs pilots off in aircraft that require a checkout.
- Member: books and dispatches their own flights, reports squawks, and sees their own account and invoices.
Belonging to more than one club
One ClubHangar account can belong to several clubs, with a different role in each. Your pilot profile (certificates, ratings, medical and flight review dates) is shared across them, while balances and dues are kept per club. If you belong to more than one, you pick a club when you sign in and can switch at any time.
Your pilot profile
Each person keeps their own profile up to date: contact details, emergency contact, certificate, ratings, and medical and flight review expiration dates. Clubs that restrict expired medicals or due flight reviews check these dates when you book.
